My name is Susan. I am a mature, respectable divorced woman that presently lives 15 minutes North of Kansas City, MO, in a small town called Smithville, MO. In my family, I am 2nd born of 6 children, but 1st daughter. From an early age, I had a lot of responsibilities. My heritage is Italian/Sicilian on my father's side, and English and German on my mother's. We grew up with strict parents who taught honesty, to work hard, generosity, to be on time, to keep your word, to help anyone less fortunate, and other morals. I am a good-natured woman with a wide variety of work and life experience to share. I am a mom of an adult man who's given me beautiful, smart grandchildren. My background check would come back squeaky clean and so would drug screens. I have a good driver's record too.

I have worked in the administrative field most of my adult life, positions ranging from basic clerical, executive assistant to management. My experience also includes travel, meeting & event planning. Major duties in maintenance management, were working with contractor's offers to bid, city permits, certificates of insurance, supervision to completion of projects and invoice overview. I have a creative flair and experience with print advertising, creating fliers, brochures, Employee Handbooks, invitations and more.
I've also done nanny and senior care too. I am presently retired from USDA and seeking suitable employment in the US or worldwide.
My wide array of experience allows me to assist my employers with everything from household management, maintenance and contractor selection and supervision, working with contracts, clerical tasks, party and event planning, cooking, catering, running errands, meeting and transportation planning, organizing, travel planning, and much more. My areas of expertise are wide-ranged, I have advanced program software experience (MS Word, Excel), bookkeeping (manually and QuickBooks); management including training, hiring and supervision; record-keeping, have set up and opened new offices, reorganized existing offices and have closed offices. My customer service and social skills are above most.
I am seeking a flexible position, with a variety of duties, where I have a weekly salary, specific days/times off duty, have paid vacation time after 1 year, my own personal living
area/bathroom, and a long-term opportunity. I have a small, 6 year-old, female dog who's very well behaved and sweet natured who would preferably come with me. However, if that's a problem, my son will keep her.
Personally, I am a quick learner, conscientious, flexible, determined, dependable, honest, have a gift of communicating with all walks of life and a true acceptance of them, know when to be serious but love to joke and laugh and professional. Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally. I have a current passport.
