Hello, I'm Ashley! I love anything to do with arts and crafts, pets, science and math, reading, and dancing! I have a kind demeanor and am a little more introverted than I am extroverted. I have a wonderful and well-behaved cat named Phoebe, so if my bringing her is at all a possibility, please read on!
In my 27 years, I have lived many lives and played many different roles which have granted me a variety of skills and circumstances that ultimately make me a great candidate for a live-in assistant and/or nanny!
I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah (in the US)- known for its large religious families- and gained years of experience babysitting for families in my community. When I graduated high school I got a job housekeeping for a hotel and fell in love with the work. I began freelance housework for several clients and even cleaned a bank at night. I did this for a few years until I started college and later decided to pause school to try out working in the tech industry. I learned many things in my tech jobs, such as programming, administrative duties, and website design. When I started to get bored I went back to school to pursue Astronomy! I ended up graduating with a minor in Physics and a major in English, having found an intense passion for literature during my studies. I also gained an intense admiration for The Netherlands and its exemplary urban planning, way of living, and local culture.
I am always looking forward to new exciting chapters in my life, and I've learned that I never like sitting still! This makes being a nanny or personal assistant a perfect job for me, as it requires me to always be on my feet doing something different hour-by-hour and day-by-day. I find a sense of fulfillment in caring for someone else, tutoring and teaching, and playing and crafting with children! I believe that life should have as little stress and as much joy as possible and have numerous methods for how to make that a reality. I'm sure you'll love to have me around!
