Introduction

Hello! I am a hardworking, dependable, compassionate, and adaptable person who genuinely enjoys helping others and making life a little easier for the people around me. I’m naturally someone who notices what needs to be done and takes care of it without always needing to be asked. I’m organized, attentive to detail, a good listener, and I love working with checklists, schedules, and routines. If there is something within my ability to do, I will always do my very best to do it well.

I have a High School Diploma and an Associate’s Degree in General Education, which I earned through an early-college program. I also hold a Criminal Justice Certificate and a ServSafe Certificate. My education has helped me develop strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, while my work experience has taught me how to stay calm, professional, and productive in busy or unexpected situations.

My experience caring for others began very early in life. I have helped care for my younger brother for as long as I can remember, as well as children of family friends. I have also volunteered in my church’s nursery and childcare programs. I’m comfortable caring for children of all ages, but I especially love working with younger children. I understand that every child has their own personality, needs, routines, and ways of communicating, and I believe patience, understanding, and consistency are incredibly important.

I am also a mother myself, so I understand firsthand how important it is to trust someone with your child. I know that leaving your child in someone else’s care requires a tremendous amount of trust, and I would never take that responsibility lightly. My goal is always for children to feel safe, cared for, listened to, and comfortable while their parents have peace of mind knowing they are in good hands.

In addition to childcare, I have extensive hands-on experience helping care for my grandmother, who has experienced significant health challenges throughout my life. I have helped with grocery shopping, meal preparation, dressing and bathing, transportation to work and appointments, laundry, house cleaning, errands, and general day-to-day support. This experience taught me patience, compassion, responsibility, and the importance of treating someone with dignity while helping them maintain their independence.

I’m also an animal lover and have experience caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and goats. I have pet-sat for family members and friends and have helped care for my grandmother’s animals as well. Animals tend to love me, and I genuinely enjoy taking care of them. I’m comfortable incorporating pet care into my responsibilities when needed.

Professionally, I currently work as a server/bartender, which has strengthened many of the skills I would bring into a personal assistant or nanny position. I regularly work 7–12+ hour shifts on my feet while managing multiple customers, requests, orders, payments, food, beverages, cleaning, and unexpected situations simultaneously. My job has taught me how to prioritize, multitask, communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and provide dependable service even when things become hectic.

I am also a licensed driver and have been driving since I was 16. I’m comfortable driving for errands, appointments, activities, school, or other family needs.

I would describe my work ethic as one of my strongest qualities. I’m patient, calm, understanding, hardworking, adaptable, and extremely willing to help. I’m a fast learner and I’m not afraid to take initiative. I would much rather notice something that needs to be done and take care of it than wait for someone else to point it out.

I’m looking for a full-time, live-out position, ideally combining nanny and personal assistant responsibilities. I have a family of my own, so live-out work is the best fit for me, but I’m very interested in becoming a reliable part of another family’s support system.

Above all, I genuinely love helping people. I love children, I love animals, I love organization and cleanliness, and I take pride in being someone others can depend on. I will always bring a positive attitude, respect your family’s routines and preferences, communicate openly, and do everything within my ability to the best of my ability. My goal is not simply to complete a list of tasks—it’s to become someone you can trust to notice the little things, take responsibility, and make your everyday life run a little more smoothly.
