We are tentatively seeking a Nanny/Helper, starting from the end of February.
This position will be available if my husband is able to keep his job (the CEO over-expanded the company). If not, then he will become the main caregiver and this position will not be available. I will start working from the 28th of February, so unfortunately I need to advertise now whether or not this position will still be available in March.
***Previous experience OR a childcare/teaching certificate preferred.
***Visa that allows you to work in Korea only ( I will check your visa card on the first day of training).
Start date: February 26th (26th and 27th are two days of training with full pay)
Where: Yongin, an apartment complex attached to ???.
Who: 5 year old twin boys.
Days: Every day, Monday to Friday.
Hours: 3:30pm to 6:30pm (The hours are tentative as their Kindy still has not decided the bus times. It will likely be around 3 hours of work per day).
Languages: First language is Korean, second language is English.
Pay:
Rate per hour, and I will pay you daily at the end of each shift. There will be 3 payment options:
Option 1: W30,000 per hour. You only feed the boys.
Option 2: W25,000 per hour. You feed yourself and the boys the same meal.
Option 3: W20,000 per hour. You bring along your own child (one child only, 4 years old and above, and all 4 of you eat our food, the same meal).
Other: My husband sometimes works from home but he will be holed up his study/office while you work. You do not need to feed him.
Basic outline of duties:
-first hour: cleaning (dishes, laundry and either dusting/vacuuming half the apartment or cleaning the bathroom. Bathroom will be their bathroom only, and maybe only once a week). Take a rest if there is spare time.
-second hour: pick up the boys from the bus, play with them.
-third hour: cook their dinner (and yours), sit and eat with them. Set aside veggies to send to Kindy.
***I will arrive home between 6pm to 6:30pm and can take over from there. You do not need to think about preparing my food on top unless it is something quick and easy.
More about dinner:
-I will write a weekly meal plan every week. Most meals will be quick to cook (or in the oven) so that your back is turned for a limited duration.
-They have a mild egg allergy. They can eat egg in baked goods and sometimes when it is used in Donkas.
-The range of food they can eat (and you can eat) in the evening is limited due to the egg allergy, their inability to eat spicy food (they vomit) and due to having to cook and set aside the type of veggies that can be sent easily to Kindy. Veggies will be: broccoli, carrots, peas, cauliflower.
