We're a relaxed, sport-loving family and treasure our household staff; who has been with us for more than 5 years. Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible and caring nanny to join our family. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our child. As a nanny, you will be responsible for the well-being, growth, and development of the child in your care.
Responsibilities:
Childcare:
- Provide attentive and high-quality childcare for the child;
- Create a structured daily schedule that includes age-appropriate activities, playtime, and learning opportunities.
- Ensure the child's safety at all times.
Meal Preparation:
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Encourage healthy eating habits.
Educational Support:
- Foster the child's intellectual and emotional development through educational activities, reading, and creative play.
- Help with homework and school assignments if applicable.
Physical Care:
- Attend to the child's basic needs, including diapering, bathing, and dressing.
- Administer any prescribed medications or treatments as necessary.
Transportation:
- Safely transport the child/children to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
Household Duties:
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the child's care, such as cleaning up after meals and maintaining a tidy play area.
- Ensure the child's belongings are organized and well-maintained.
Communication:
- Maintain open and clear communication with the parents, providing updates on the child's activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with parents on parenting strategies and goals.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Mandarin a bonus
- Previous experience as a nanny or in a related childcare role is preferred.
- CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for children.
- Ability to prioritize safety and provide a nurturing environment.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if transportation is required).
- A valid passport and a willingness to travel locally and abroad (if required)
- Comfortable with small pet dogs
