We are a friendly and welcoming Italian family, and we live in a comfortable home in a safe area. Family life is very important to us, and we try to create a calm, respectful and positive environment every day.

We have a 6-year-old son who is a bright, curious and energetic child. He loves asking questions, understanding how things work, inventing games, moving, learning and laughing. He enjoys conversation and responds best to someone who is present, patient and genuinely interested in interacting with him.

We are looking for an English-speaking au pair or nanny who would like to become part of our daily life, not just help with childcare. For us, this experience is about exchange: sharing cultures, language and everyday moments together. At the same time, we also respect personal space and independence, and we want the person who joins us to feel comfortable and at home.

Our days are quite structured with school and after-school activities, but we also enjoy simple family moments like meals together, talking about our day, and spending relaxed time at home. We value kindness, communication and reliability, and we try to offer the same in return.

We are a warm, welcoming Italian family looking for a kind, responsible and English-speaking au pair or nanny to join us and become part of our daily life. Our goal is not only childcare, but also creating a positive, stimulating environment where our son can naturally experience the English language through everyday interaction.

? About our child

Our son is 6 years old and a bright, curious and energetic little boy. He loves asking questions, understanding how things work, inventing games, moving, learning and laughing. He enjoys conversation and responds best to someone who is present, patient and genuinely interested in interacting with him. He is not a child who just sits in front of a screen — he thrives with someone who likes to play, talk, explore and share activities.

? Role and duties

This is a part-time position, mainly in the afternoons.

Your responsibilities would include:
• Picking him up from school and accompanying him to activities such as tennis and drum lessons
• Spending quality time with him through play, creative activities, reading, conversation and outdoor time
• Encouraging English in a natural way through daily interaction (no need for formal teaching unless you enjoy it)
• Preparing simple snacks or light meals when needed
• Helping him with his evening routine when required
• Occasionally offering support in the evening or during a weekend, always discussed and agreed in advance

We are looking for someone who can provide calm guidance, clear boundaries and warmth. It’s important for us to find a person who understands that even in a friendly family environment, caring for a child also comes with responsibility, reliability and consistency.
