We are a family living in Kinsale since 2020.

We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful Nanny and House Manager to join our family. The primary responsibilities of this role will include caring for our children aged 3 and 5, assisting with school preparation and transportation, and maintaining an organized, harmonious household. This role also involves traveling with us as needed, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with flexibility and a love for new experiences.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, loving care for our two children aged 3 and 5. This includes nurturing their growth and development, keeping them safe, and making sure they adhere to household rules.
Assist with morning routines, including helping the children get dressed, preparing breakfast, and transporting them to school.
Plan educational and recreational activities for the children on school days, creating a fun and enriching environment for them.
Prepare healthy meals for the family, taking into consideration any dietary needs or restrictions.
Perform general housekeeping duties, such as tidying up rooms and common areas, washing clothes, and maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the house.
Accompany the family on trips when necessary, maintaining the same responsibilities on the road.

Since the kids will be in school starting August for half days we are seeking someone to also act as a house manager keeping the place tidy, doing washing & folding, and cleaning.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a similar role, particularly with children of similar ages.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Flexibility to adapt to the family's schedule and travel as needed.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for family privacy.
A positive, nurturing, and patient approach to childcare.
Basic knowledge of meal preparation and nutrition.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
