Hello! ? We’re an American family from New Hampshire spending 2–3 months in Santa Ana starting January 2026, and we’re looking for a part-time nanny for our 1.5-year-old son.

A little about us: we’re a couple in our 30s working remotely, and we’d love to find someone warm and reliable to care for our toddler in the mornings while we work. He’s sweet, curious, and very active — happiest outside exploring, swimming, or running around.

We’d like him spoken to in Spanish during the day, and while Dad speaks Spanish at a basic level, the right hire will have enough English to communicate key things with us in English.

Ideally, we’re looking for about 15–25 hours a week, Monday–Thursday mornings (around 8/9am–1pm), though we’re open to negotiating based on your availability.

We’d especially love someone who has a car and can take him to parks, activities, or other community outings, in addition to using the pool and playgrounds at our apartment.

Pay and hours are flexible depending on experience.

We’re seeking a caring and reliable nanny to care for our 2-year-old son while our family lives in Santa Ana for 2–3 months starting January 5, 2026.

Schedule: 15–25 hours per week, ideally Monday–Thursday mornings (approx. 8/9am–12/1pm). We’re open to adjusting hours based on the right candidate’s experience and availability.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, loving care for our 1.5 year old son.

Speak with him primarily in Spanish to help with language development.

Plan and engage him in active, outdoor play whenever possible. Our apartment offers amenities including playgrounds, pools, and walking trails.

Offer variety and exposure to new environments/activities in the community.

Prepare simple snacks/lunch and handle light cleanup related to childcare.

Keep him safe, happy, and engaged while we’re working from home.

Requirements:

Experience caring for toddlers.

Spanish speaker with enough English proficiency to communicate essential things with us.

Patient, reliable, and nurturing.

Comfortable supporting an active, curious toddler.

Access to a car strongly preferred (our rental car won’t be available for nanny use).
