We are looking for help with our 3 (soon to be 4) children that are homeschooled on our family ranch. We live in a beautiful rural area of Wyoming, where unfortunately good help is hard to find. However, we are so excited to open our home to a nanny who is willing and able to help!
About our home: we live on a 160 acre ranch where we raise cows, have horses and chickens, and farm. We have a beautiful view of the mountains, and are surrounded by rural farmland & wide open spaces. We live between Riverton and Lander Wyoming, each about 30 minutes from our house. There are also lots of places to hike, climb, swim, and spend time in nature! We love to garden, preserve our own food, and we just started homeschooling our children. We love to share what we have learned, and would be happy to teach all that we know about farming, food preservation, and more!
About our Family: We have 3 children, two boys ages 6 and 4, and 1 girl age 2, and a baby due in August 2025. Our kids are homeschooled, just starting to learn their letters and how to read. They love to play, build, create, and be outside. We are looking for someone who can help them do their lessons, nourish their creativity, and help them learn. We are also a Catholic family, and our faith is very important to us. We attend church regularly and hope that we can find someone who is a good fit with our beliefs as well, especially when helping the children and answering their many questions! My husband and I both work from home; he takes care of the farm & animals, and I have a candle business that I run at home and in town.
About the position: Childcare is the main piece that we need help with. While tutoring would be beneficial, it is not required. We do require help with housework, especially in regards to the children. Since we have a new baby coming, we will need help with maintaining a clean and tidy home. We are flexible when it comes to hours, and weekly pay can be negotiable based on your needs. We can create a schedule based off of my work time away from home, and any time you may need for classes etc, and set your days and times you will have off. We can also provide a vehicle for transportation if necessary. We have a private room/bathroom in our basement which could be used by you, as well as a little private house right across the driveway which could be dedicated solely for your use. We love to build and will make things as comfortable and accommodating for you as possible!
