Dear Au Pair,

Are you looking for the typical American experience in a sunny Spanish setting??? Come get to know our family. We are a fun, active Spanish-American family (Mom is American, Dad is Spanish) looking for a new family member to join us when we move from the USA to Spain in July 2024! We have had wonderful experiences with au pairs in the past, and can provide references. Primarily, we are looking for a big sister figure to help with a split schedule (help in the mornings and afternoons after school pickup until bedtime) M - F. We love travel, biking, spending time outdoors, and arts and crafts projects. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with lots of noise, since we are a big family, responsible, flexible, and loves kids. We will treat you like one of our own and you are welcome to come on our trips (we travel frequently to the US and are planning a trip to Australia to see cousins this year!) We would love to share our culture and learn about yours. We would also need someone who has a driver's license, can cook, and does not need visa sponsorship for the EU.

Primarily looking for someone from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, as both Mom and Dad have German heritage and we would like the kids to be able to speak German. If not, Mandarin would be ok too, as the kids are taking Chinese classes.

Schedule
M - F:
7:00 - 9:00: wake up kids, help them get dressed, brush teeth, breakfast, and get ready for school. Take kids to school.
15:00 - 20:00: pick up kids, help with homework/go to the park/go to afterschool activities, prepare dinner for kids, help them brush their teeth, bath (if it's a bath day), change into pajamas, and go to bed.

Other responsibilities: light tidying up after the kids (we have a separate housecleaner for any deep cleaning/laundry), may need to occasionally run errands like picking up some groceries or taking kids to doctor appointments
