We are a Christian family but we are not perfect. We love fun but also enjoy the small things. We are outgoing, love nature, love to camp, fish and hunt. We are conservative in our views but are open minded and are able to discuss things and see view points from others that we may not agree with but have a mutual respect and understanding of where someone is coming from. Christmas is our favorite holiday. We are meat eaters so a vegetarian might not feel comfortable in our home lol. Other than that, we love relaxing outside in the evenings after a hard days work.

My husband and I have 4 daughters ranging in ages from 7-17. As their mom, I was hospitalized last year for 3 weeks for seizures and have since been unemployed and suffer from them almost daily. My seizures are not the type where I go into convulsions but yet I get confused, my speech becomes slurred, etc… and then they knock me out for hours. Because of this, my ability to upkeep with my home has become impossible and the laundry of 4 daughters is overwhelming. What I’m looking for is for someone to help with some daily cleaning and upkeep and help run my daughters to games or something. I don’t want an environment where they are cleaning constantly. I want them to feel like they’re a part of the family and they’re doing chores in exchange for room and board. I want them to have the extra time to be able to work outside of our home if they choose or go to school. There are days where I feel great and I get things done and then there’s days where I can’t stay awake. I also suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis. We live just outside of Amarillo and have a chicken farm where we deliver eggs all over the area. We also love gardening, we have a 1500 sqft vegetable garden. I love canning and preserving food. So I’d love a candidate that has an old soul in them and enjoys these things too. I’m looking for someone to become a member of our family, not an employee. We want to know you. We are not rich, but we are Blessed plenty by Gods Grace and we are always provided for. I’m prior military, so I’m OCD about how I like things done but my daughters could careless. I also cuss more than a lady should but I was in the Navy and it’s a hard habit to break. Other job duties might include driving me to a doctors appointment if you’re licensed to drive and then we can enjoy lunch somewhere. Oh you must love dogs! We have a cat but she mainly sticks to the kids. Because of pet dander and allergies, we have to large air purifiers in our home. As far as our girls go, I tell everyone that they are the feral 4 lol. They are wild, love to play, and are always into something. My husband has had his hands full trying to take care of me, our girls, our mini farm and work full time mostly out of town. It’s wearing him down and that’s what lead me here. I’m not sure if we can even afford this but I’m going to try.
