My name is Lucía, I'm 29 years old and I'm from Tenerife, a beautiful island in Spain.

I would love to tell you a little about myself and hopefully become part of a lovely family in Ireland!

**I have six years of experience working with children, both as a nanny and as a private tutor.** During this time, I have cared for children aged 4 to 14, helping families with their daily routines and, most importantly, creating a warm, happy and safe environment for their little ones.

For me, looking after children is much more than a job. I genuinely love spending time with them, getting to know their personalities, listening to their stories, making them laugh and watching them grow. I believe that childhood should be full of love, curiosity, imagination and wonderful memories.

I enjoy organising games, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, trips to the park, reading stories, painting, dancing and discovering new things together. I also have experience preparing meals and snacks, helping with bath time, getting children ready for bed, supporting their daily routines and helping with homework. I love making everyday moments fun and special!

I'm a very affectionate, cheerful, patient and responsible person. I enjoy being active and playful with children, but I also understand the importance of routines, boundaries and creating a calm, caring environment where they feel safe and understood. Every child is different, and I love discovering what makes each one special.

**Education is another important part of my life.** I have studied Medicine and I'm currently finishing my degree in Physics. Science is one of my greatest passions! I love understanding how the world works, asking questions and sharing that curiosity with children. Through my experience as a tutor, I've learnt how to make learning enjoyable, encouraging children to believe in themselves and discover their own abilities.

But I'm not just passionate about science. I also have a very artistic and creative side! ??

**I absolutely love music, singing and art.** I take singing lessons, enjoy creative activities and love everything related to music. I believe that singing, dancing, painting and using our imagination are wonderful ways to connect with children. Some of the happiest moments can come from something as simple as singing a song together, creating a little work of art or inventing a funny game.

I also love nature, animals, swimming, exploring new places and spending time outdoors. I'm always happy to try new activities and make the most of every day.

One of the reasons I'm especially excited about Ireland is its culture and musical traditions. I love traditional and Celtic music, and the idea of discovering Ireland, its beautiful landscapes, local traditions and way of life really makes me happy. I would love to experience everyday life in an Irish family and share a little of my own Spanish culture too.

As a native Spanish speaker, I would also be delighted to introduce your children to Spanish naturally through songs, games, stories and everyday activities, if you would like that.

I have a European driving licence and can provide references from families I've worked with. I'm also happy to help with light household tasks, especially those related to the children.

**What I'm really looking for is a family where I can build a genuine connection.** I would love your children to see me as someone they can trust, laugh with, learn with and turn to when they need a little extra love or support. I would also love to have a warm and respectful relationship with their parents, based on good communication and mutual trust.
