Hello, I'm Sandra. I'm Spanish and I'm looking for a stable position in Switzerland caring for elderly people and/or children, and I'd like to take a moment to tell you who I am and what I can offer, so you have all the information before deciding whether I'm a good fit for what you're looking for.

I've been planning this move for a while because I want a more stable life, in exchange for hard work, dedication and doing things properly. I'm not looking for something temporary: I want a family with whom to build a long-term relationship of trust.

I trained as a nursing assistant (auxiliar de enfermería), and my main strength is caring for elderly people: years of real experience in care homes (residencias) with elderly people and also people with disabilities — personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, emotional support, following care routines, always making sure the person in my care is well and calm. I also did my hospital placement (prácticas), so I work with responsibility, calm and patience, even in difficult moments. This is where I have the most experience and feel most confident, so if you need someone for a parent, grandparent or any family member with special needs, this is where I can help most.

Alongside that, I also love children, so if what you need is childcare I bring the same dedication: warm and caring, but down-to-earth — setting rules and routines, playing, homework help, simple healthy meals, and making sure they feel safe and loved while you're away. I feel especially comfortable with somewhat older children, and I keep clear communication with parents about the day.

I also have hotel housekeeping experience, so I leave the house spotless: thorough cleaning, organising, laundry and ironing, with real attention to detail. I can handle household tasks alongside caregiving, so everything runs smoothly without you worrying about it after work.

And since I love animals, if you have a pet at home that's no problem at all — quite the opposite: I'd be happy to take care of it too, walk it, feed it and keep it company like one more member of the family. To me, it's not an extra task, it's something I genuinely enjoy.

On languages: I'm a native Spanish speaker, so your children can maintain or improve their Spanish, or your elderly relative can feel accompanied in their own language. My English is at a medium level, good enough for everyday life. I don't yet speak German or French, but I'm keen to learn as soon as I'm settled, and plan to take classes right away.

I have a driving licence, so I can also take care of dropping off and picking up children from school or their activities, taking the elderly person to medical appointments, or running household errands if needed.

I'm responsible, punctual, discreet and completely trustworthy — I know how important it is to leave a child or an elderly relative in good hands, and I take that seriously. I adapt easily to each household's routines, and communicate clearly so you can always feel at ease.

Regarding conditions: I'm looking for a live-out position (not live-in, meaning I wouldn't reside at the family's home), full-time, working the standard schedule in Switzerland, up to 45 hours per week, and I'm especially interested in the cantons of Zug and Zürich.
