My name is Sandra, I am Portuguese and I am a caring, active and energetic professional nanny with several years of experience caring for children from newborns and babies to teenagers.
I started working professionally as a nanny in 2016 and I have experience with families from different backgrounds, including private and high-profile families and fully staffed households. I am comfortable taking responsibility for children’s daily routines, preparing meals, organising activities, school runs, outdoor activities and helping children feel safe, happy and confident.
I am also a mother of three adult children, which has given me many years of personal experience, patience and understanding of children’s different needs and personalities.
I am a responsible, trustworthy, organised and affectionate person. I enjoy cooking, spending time outdoors, travelling, music, reading and creating fun activities with children. I believe that children need both affection and clear boundaries, always in a positive and respectful environment.
I have a driving licence and Paediatric First Aid and Basic Life Support training. Portuguese is my native language and I also speak Spanish. I am currently improving my English and I am very motivated to continue learning.
