My name is Mae, and I am from Bohol, Philippines. I am a Registered Nurse in the Philippines who is kind, patient, responsible, hardworking, caring, and willing to learn. I am also open-minded and adaptable, and I would love the opportunity to experience a new culture while becoming a helpful and trusted member of your family.

I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and have experience caring for children in different settings. I have helped take care of my younger sister, cousins, and children in our neighborhood, which gave me experience in assisting with their daily needs, keeping them safe, playing with them, and spending quality time with them.

I also have experience through our Children’s Ministry every Saturday and Sunday, where I regularly interact with children, assist with activities, and enjoy reading storybooks and telling stories with them. These experiences have helped me become more patient, attentive, understanding, and comfortable communicating with children of different personalities and needs.

As a Registered Nurse, I received training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and emergency care during my nursing education. I also gained hands-on experience in an Emergency Room hospital setting for one month, which taught me to stay calm, attentive, responsible, and safety-conscious when caring for others. I believe my nursing background is an added advantage when it comes to caring for children and ensuring their safety and wellbeing.

I would be happy to help with daily childcare routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, bedtime, playtime, reading, storytelling, learning activities, and other age-appropriate activities. I enjoy encouraging children to learn, explore, be creative, confident, and independent. I also understand that every child is different, so I am willing to learn their routines, personality, interests, and the parenting style of the family.

I am also willing to help with light household tasks, such as preparing simple meals, washing dishes, organizing children’s belongings and areas, doing light laundry, and general tidying. I understand the importance of being flexible, respectful, dependable, and communicative when living and working with a host family.

Although I am new to being an Au Pair professionally, I can offer genuine childcare experience, patience, responsibility, trustworthiness, and a willingness to learn. I would treat your children with the same care, patience, and attention that I would want for my own family.
