Introduction
Hello, everyone! I decided to take a leap of faith and reach out to see the possibilities of becoming an au pair.
I’m 22 years old and I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Since my field is very much about people, I’ve had a lot of experience interacting with and understanding people from different backgrounds. During my internship, I worked in BDEV—a Non Governmental Organization setting focused on child protection which gave me experience working around children and taught me a lot about patience, listening, and being attentive to their needs in regards to their situation.
I’m interested in becoming an au pair ever since I found out about this as I’d really love to experience another culture in a more personal way. I was actually in Australia just two months ago and it made me want to explore other countries and experience beyond being a tourist as well hehe ?? When it comes to household responsibilities, fortunately, I fit the asian stereotype of being a hardworker and tidy person haha
I know I’m new to the au pair experience but I’m willing to learn, adjust, and be part of your family’s everyday life. I’d love to find a family where we can be comfortable with each other, communicate openly, and enjoy the experience together.
