I started working as a nanny after l finished secondary school.at that time I was waiting for my results so that I could go to college. We had a neighbour who had two twin children. A girl and a boy. They were eight months old. Our neighbour asked my mum if l could stay at her house and help her take care of her children while she went to work. She would pay me a salary every month.

When my mum told me about the job.l accepted it because,fist l really love children and secondly l would be paid money that would help me with my college needs.

I went to live with the family. Since the children were still very young,l had to take care of them all the time. I used to bath them,feed them and make sure they were safe and comfortable. Sometimes they would cry especially at night so l had to wake up and take care of them.

It was not always easy because taking care of two babies at the same time was challenging but l enjoyed the experience because I love children. This job taught me how to be patient,responsible and caring. It also gave me good experience in taking care of children

Later l gained more childcare experience when l moved to Oman for work. Working with a family in Oman helped me improve my childcare skills and taught me to be more responsible. During the week l also take the children to different activities and places where they can play and interact with other children. This gives them an opportunity to have fun ,socialize and develop their skills. Overall my routine is focused on making sure the children are safe,happy clean,well-fed and well cared for throughout the day
