In my current role as a Children’s Residential Support Worker, I have been challenged and shaped in ways that have strengthened me both personally and professionally. I have worked with children and young people from diverse backgrounds, including those with EBD, SEN, and CSE. This has enabled me to build resilience, remain calm under pressure, and use therapeutic approaches to de-escalate situations and return young people to a safe and stable state. I always strive to care for each child with the same dedication I would give my own, while maintaining professional boundaries and ensuring their safety and wellbeing remain the highest priority.

Alongside this, I also work within the NHS in the radiology department, predominantly within A&E. This fast-paced and often demanding role has developed my ability to work under pressure, stay organised, and respond effectively in challenging situations. My responsibilities include performing X-rays, recording and reporting clinical information, making safeguarding referrals, and carrying out clerical tasks. Both of my roles have required me to be highly competent in paperwork, safeguarding procedures, and IT systems.

I am now seeking a new opportunity where I can continue to build on my knowledge, develop new skills, and make a positive difference in a new environment.
