Hi!
My name is Alicia, I'm Peruvian, and I'm currently looking for a live-in position as a nanny, tutor, caregiver, or family assistant.
I love working with children and often take on a “big sister” role—playing with them, helping with homework, and supporting their daily routines. I’ve worked as an English Teacher at a high school in my hometown in 2023, and as a Mandarin Assistant Teacher there as well. Last year I worked as a Bilingual Teacher Assistant (English-Spanish and viceversa) at an elementary school in Memphis, Tennessee, USA.
Spanish is my native language, I’m fluent in English and Portuguese too, and I have basic Mandarin skills (still learning!). I’ve also taught Spanish to foreigners in Argentina and South Africa in the past, and I was giving private English and Mandarin lessons back home in Peru in early 2024.
I come from a big family, so being around kids feels very natural to me. I’ve already spent two seasons living with American families, which helped me become even more flexible, responsible, and comfortable in a family home environment.
I’m 46 years old, have no children, and I’m a calm, caring, and health-conscious person. I have international experience, having lived, worked, or studied in Peru, Argentina, South Africa, the U.S. and Brazil, and I truly enjoy helping families and being useful where I’m needed.
