Hey! My name is Britney, I am 25 years old and I was born and raised in NY. I have been working with kids for about 9 years, when I was 16 years old I got my first summer job at a Daycare and to no surprise, I loved it! Given that I knew at a much younger age I wanted to care for or teach children! Since my first job 9 years ago, I have ventured out into a few other career choices and somehow always found my way back to child care! Fast forward to now I am much older and confident that this is my passion and my purpose! I have earned my Florida department of children and families 40hr training certification as well as my CPR + First Aid. I am also currently working on getting my RBT certification so that I can work with and help children with behavioral needs. Besides the kiddos, I am also strongly passionate about art! I love painting on my downtime and arts and crafts with the kids has to be one of my favorite activities! I also enjoy outdoor time such as walks, beaches, parks and pools. I’ve moved to Tampa FL 4 years ago and I love it here! Since then I’ve worked for a preschool in South Tampa as a 2 year old teacher as well as a substitute teacher for an on call company which is where I gained most of my skills and experiences. I’ve worked with ages ranging from 0-12 years old. I also have the privilege of babysitting occasionally for a few of the families of the students from my previous jobs! I would describe myself as a very fun driven and responsible caregiver. I am very energetic and my goal is always for everyone to be safe and happy!
