My name is Michaela, I’m 24 years old and currently spending the summer in Switzerland. I am a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, where I study painting and pursue my passion for creativity. During this period, I am actively looking for a summer job abroad as an au pair or part-time nanny.
I am flexible and fully prepared to relocate to another country for the right family. I would be happy to move and settle wherever the position requires, as I see this not only as a job opportunity, but also as a chance for personal and cultural enrichment.
I have several years of experience working with children aged 1 to 9. In my previous roles, I took care of a toddler and two school-aged children (6 and 9), managing daily routines, preparing meals, assisting with homework, and creating a safe, engaging environment through creative play. I enjoy incorporating artistic activities—such as drawing, painting, and crafts—into childcare, as I believe they help children express themselves and support their overall development.

In addition to childcare, I have hands-on experience with cooking, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized household. I am comfortable with general housekeeping tasks such as laundry, ironing, and tidying up, and I also enjoy spending time in the garden, whether it’s watering plants or helping with basic upkeep. I believe that contributing to the smooth running of the household is an important part of being a helpful and reliable au pair.
