i am a 39 years old Spanish female with 11 years experience as a qualified English Second Language teacher and have been nannying for Spanish and international families-USA, Russia, UK. I am currently working in Spain where I have developed my last years experience in charge of newborns, toddlers, infants and teenagers. I am a very active, disciplined person with a big smile on my face. I am out-going and very sociable. Love keep in touch with people and social contact. Since I live very close to both the sea and the mountains I get to practice lots of outdoors activities, skiing, surfing, trekking, climbing, cycling, swimming, it's easy with this landscape!!! I have been working untill 31st May in a private school of languages where I have been teaching English for the las 11 years. I love teaching and being in touch with the kids. I teach a wide range of ages and levels. Students aged 5 to adults (50). And from Primary to University and official exams as Cambridge FCE, CAE. As a childminder, it all started back in 1993 when I first went to London to work as an Au-Pair for the summer before starting university. That hooked me on! Since then I have combined my studies/work with the caring of children. While studying decided to take a year and move to the USA to spend a year with the Screven family and their beautiful 4 children. I loved the twins, Ana and Mary!! We´re still in touch and that was back in 1997. Once I found my teaching job, through students' parents and my own employers in the school I built myself a professional profile as a nanny and taking advantage of my teaching skills I would take sometimes the role of tutor as required from the parents. I am currently looking after a baby boy aged 11 months who was 5 at the time of starting. I will assist the family until the end of June when the mother will have 2 months of because she is a teacher and here in Spain public school teachers take July and August off, so they won't be needing me. She would love to brag on me but unfortunately not everybody speaks English in this country. She would be happy to talk to you may you have an Spanish speaking person to talk to her. The truth is that she said to me she felt helpless not being able to speak on my behalf.
