Dear Family,
Since I was little, my parents have shown my brother and I to be independent by giving us the chance to study abroad and have given us opportunities I will never stop being thankful for as they have changed me as a person and helped me to grow emotionally. I live in Madrid with my mother, Cova and my father, Fernando and my older brother, Martin is studying university abroad. Right now, I'm finishing my last year of high school in Alegra British and International School, coursing the International Baccalaureate, in which I have been since 2020. Before that, I had been at the International School of Madrid for my whole life. I have also spent one year abroad: 4 months in Switzerland and 5 months in England.

As every human being, I have my defects. I consider myself a good-hearted person, but i'm very impulsive and direct and sometimes it gets me in trouble. That's precisely why I will be studying university outside Madrid, I recently got admitted at Universidad de Navarra to study a degree in Pschology. I am really really excited to start this experience, make new friends and honestly, I think I need a change of scenery.

I have a group of 5 close friends and me, I love them so much. Honestly, we have had our ups and downs during the years, but since last year we have become inseparable, seeing each other in school everyday and going out during weekends. We complement each other in an amazing way, we are all so similar we have a good time only by being together.

Since I was 4 years old until i has 13 I dance ballet, as my mom did and my grandma before her. I loved it but COVID made the circumstance really difficult and I haven't practiced since, but I hope when I start university and I have more free time I can join a class and start again. I also enjoy cooking a lot, especially baking, because it helps me to take my mind off things and I do it while listening to music on my speaker. Unlike most people my age, I really enjoy reading especially romance and mystery/thriller books.

During all my life, I have loved little kids: playing and helping them. I think I have some experience as I have taken care of lots of my cousins and a family with two kids who call me when they need babysitting. As well, starting last year, I have been helping two sisters from my school, that are 8 and 6 years old. I help them once a week for two hours, doing their homework, reading and playing with them sometimes. Honestly, I have grown really attached to them as they treat me like family and it will be one of the things I will miss most about leaving for university, although I hope when I go back to Madrid I can see them from time to time.

Living the opportunity of being an aupair abroad is joining two of the things that I love most in my life: children and travelling. I aspire to do my best, while enjoying myself, living a new experience and bond with little ones.
