Dear future family:

I'm 28 years old. In the past I've already worked as a live-in and live-out nanny. Now I'm looking to have a family with whom I can live and work as many hours as possible since I'm now totally free of obligations (before I used to study and work at the same time) and I feel I have a lot of energy to give. I would also like to save money so that in a couple of years I can start my own family. I see this as an opportunity to learn from a family that has already been built but also to share all my energy and passion for kids and their development. In this regard, for the last years and while I've been working with kids I've read a lot of books regarding children neurodevelopment and educational approaches, as well as books about child psychoanalysis. This all interests me a great deal and I consider it as a precious knowledge that I would like to share with the family and of course apply the "methods/rules" with the kids (we can discuss further in the future but it would be like a philosophy of how to be empathetic with kids, how to let them recognize and regulate emotions, how to be a figure they can trust and learn from, etc).

I value privacy and respect a lot from parents direct and honest communication. But I also like to feel confortable with them and see that even if I'm an employee, I'm also somehow part of the family (or a team that work together, the only goal of the team being the wellbeing and healthy development of the kids as well as provide a loving environment). I usually accept times to share with the family extra-work (like celebrations or dinners or especial events). But at the same time I like leave the family moments of intimacy and time for them alone (it's usually comes very naturally for us but if anything I always prefer honest and open communication and I consider myself very easy going in this regard and I respect families traditions and always adapt to their routines).


My educational background is a degree in mathematics and physics and I've also completed 12 years of classical music education (I play the traverse flute). I'm always eager to share my passion of music with kids and if they're a little older try to introduce math riddles and puzzles so they can see how fun maths can be (or help them with homework). I've also done studies of cinema and philosophy (I have a master in philosophy of science). I don't like to use screens with kids but I do love to show them some films and use them as educational, artistic and reasoning tools (create a quiz after watching the film, create costumes and play roles of characters afterwards, discuss values of the film, etc). I also love reading with them, creating games that explore their imagination (create storyboards, using plastic art tools, etc).
