Hi! I'm Ahlam, a french girl living in Paris. I'm 25. I live with my parents, my sister, and our cat, Pina, and I have another sister.

I finished my studies two years ago (2 years of social studies to become a social worker and 1 year in Science Education). Since then, I have been working as an activity leader, working with children, every wednesday (their day off) and during holidays, in their school, proposing different activities, like manual activities, sports,etc.... I have been doing this for 8 years, mainly during holidays. In fact, I trained, getting a certificate in childminding. I also worked in a fast-food and as a cashier in a sport store.

As I was thinking about how to organise my futur trip, I thought it would be great if it could be both useful and pleasurable. That's why I thought about being an au pair/nanny/babysitter. In fact, I am used to working with children aged 1-15. I babysit a lot. I also worked as a nanny in 2006-2007 taking care of a 7 year old girl and his 1 year old brother (park, homeworks, bath, meal,...). They are now 9 and 3 years old, and I'm still babysitting them.

I really love working with children, taking care of them, playing, joking and having fun with them, listenning to what they have to say, to their problems, but also, in some ways, educating them.

What about my personality?

-I am very tidy, I clean a lot at home, helping my mum

-I am quite pessimistic, but only on myself
-I often put off until tomorrow what I can do today
-Sometimes I am too naive and too emotionnal
-I don't like cooking, but I know how to cook some stuffs

What about my hobbies?

-Music (all kinds of music except hardrock/metal)
-Cinematography
-Reading
-Sport (football, rollerskating, cycling,...)
-Picnicking
-Drawing and painting (principally at work, with children)
-Travelling (I visited London, New-York, Washingthon, Italy, Japan, South Korea some other cities in France, and I often go to Morocco )
-Learning foreign languages (My first language is french, I speek quite well english and moroccan arabic, I know the basics of spanish)
-Eating and sleeping =) (it's very important!)


I have been interested in South Korea for a while. I am very interested in the culture (food, literature, cinema, music, customs,...), the language, the people.
And travelling is the better way to discover a country, meet people and share with them lots of things.

I had the chance to visit this country last year, on my own. It was a fantastic trip, I really enjoyed it, ans I fell in love with the city of Seoul.I met great people there, and it made me feel like going back there, for a longer period, in order to discover more things and above all learning the language, or at least try to!

All I can say is that I would be very happy to join your family, if you are ready to welcome a french girl who is not afraid at all to start this "adventure", who is very motivated and who is ready to be like a big sister for your children.

As you can see on my profile, I'm seeking live-in or live-out. It really doesn't matter for me, in so far as I already have a place to stay in Seoul if you can't provide it. I live near Sinchon station, on line 2.
I`ve been here for almost 2 months now. I`ve been working for a family as a housekeeper and a babysitter. But they have just left this week, they are travelling, and I don`t know when they`re coming back. That`s why I`m looking for another nice family for January.
