Hi,
I am a 52 year old Mother of 2 grown up children that has a passion to still want to work and help care for children.
I am older than most Au pairs but have much more experience than a younger one, and its easier to understand and keep to the rules that a parent wants their child raised by. My husband works in the USA, which gives me the opportunity to be able to travel anywhere and accept a live in position. I am willing to travel anywhere to join a family.
I have worked at a children's home for 3 years with 14 teenagers as well has au paired for a 3 year old for a year. I have lots of experience with small children at the moment having family and friends that have younger children from the ages of 1 month to teenagers. I have experience in tutoring with English and Afrikaans children as well as completed my TEFL English online teaching Certificate a few years ago. My Level 1 First aid certificate is valid. I am a very loving and understanding person when working with children, but have strict rules on discipline and boundaries with them.
I would love to have a family that I can get to know and help bring up their children.
I am also able to help with the care of a family member that needs caring. I have recently done a caring course.
I am a loving, energetic, outgoing person that fits in anywhere and willing to go the extra mile for anyone.
