Dear host family
My name is Ayanda but everyone calls me Ayoh I am thirty-two years old. I come from the beautiful country of South Africa; we are dubbed the rainbow nation because of our many diverse cultures. I live in a small beach town called Durban, popular for its all year round warm weather and delicious food.
I come from a small family of three.I have an older sister who is forty years old with three children and my younger brother who is twenty eight . My brother and I live together with our mother and our sister is married lives with her family but we love spending as much time as possible together as a family, talking, playing board games and going down to the beach.
After spending two years in the United States as an au pair, where I had to teach my then four and five year old host kids how to start reading, writing, counting and generally prepare them for going into kindergarten, I took it up on myself to do a TEFL course I saw it as another way of still working with children. Working with kids is fun to my they maybe learning from me but I am also learning from them how to appreciate life. It will warm my heart to work as a nanny helping my host family where help is needed .
