My name is Nicola and I’m 33 years old. I was born in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
I am a hard-working, responsible, dependable, and punctual individual. During my professional
career I have managed to accrue nearly 18 years of professional work experience, about 7 years
thereof has been childcare experience. Other than working with children in South Africa, I had
the privilege of working as an international maternity nanny, nanny & Au Pair in The
Netherlands, America and Saudi Arabia. I have childcare experience which includes special
needs experience (autism, ADHD, OCD, and anxiety) as well as working as a Maternity nanny. I
have worked with children from newborn age up to 17 years old.
Some of my hobbies include baking, drawing & painting and reading. I also enjoy playing board
games – especially educational games. I am a confident swimmer. I have a driver’s license and I
am a very good driver with experience in driving on the left side as well as the right side of the
road and being able to drive manual and automatic vehicles. I am a non-smoker. Other than
English I also speak Afrikaans and Dutch.
In both my academic and professional life, I have been consistently praised as detail oriented,
respectful, independent, and flexible by my employers, colleagues and peers. Whether working
on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I apply proven leadership, organizational
