Hope you're doing well! ? I'm Maureen, a 24-year-old licensed teacher from the Philippines. I recently completed a 1-year Au Pair program in the Netherlands, where I cared for a 3-year-old toddler from October 2024 to September 2025. Highlights of my experience include:
- Caring for a 3-year-old toddler, managing their daily routine, and ensuring their overall well-being
- Handling household chores, such as meal preparation, vacuuming, mopping floors, loading and unloading dishes, and picking up the child from school
- Creating engaging activities and playtime, promoting the child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development
My host family is willing to provide references.
I've also been a Sunday School Teacher for 8 years, teaching kids aged 5-13, and I have experience caring for my niece and nephews, ages 3-8. I love childcare, teaching, and playing with kids! In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and swimming. I'm friendly, responsible, and eager to create wonderful memories with a host family. I'm a total pet lover, btw! Growing up, we had 5 cats and 1 dog at home, so I'm super comfortable around furry friends ?.
I'm confident in my ability to provide a nurturing and engaging environment for children. I'm trained in household chores, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation. I can help with homework, plan fun activities, and provide emotional support. I'm a team player and open to feedback and guidance.
