Dear Host Family,

Hello, my name is Michelle, and I would love to become an Au Pair in US and take on the
responsibilities of caring for your children.
First, I would like to tell you a bit about myself and who I am personally.
I am 26 years old and I live in Iloilo, Philippines. I have spent my whole life here and I am very close with
my family. My mum, Joceltn, works as a fulltime mom and my dad, Jomar, is a farmer. I have three younger brothers, Mark (20), Adrian (16) and Thom (12). We love to spend time together and
I often take care of the boys while both of my parents are at work. We also have a beautiful dog
named kara and cholo and they are very much a member of the family.

I graduated from college in 2017 and I am currently unemployed but also i have part time job which is a
nanny. I have gained my childcare experience mainly through babysitting and giving care to elderly. I love looking after children as you can learn so much from them.

I would describe myself as a responsible and mature person. I like to plan things ahead and be
prepared for any occasion. I am not scared of new challenges and I don’t give up easily.

I have always wanted to go to US and get to know the culture firsthand. I think it would be the best opportunity to travel and to gain a new family on the other side of the world.
