Introduction

Dear Families,
My name is Oldivanda Maria, and it is a pleasure to introduce myself to you. I am a caring, responsible, and dedicated childcare professional with a strong passion for supporting children’s growth, wellbeing, and development in a safe and loving environment. With several years of experience working with children of different ages, I understand how important it is for families to feel confident, comfortable, and trusting when choosing someone to care for their children.
I am trained in Early Childhood Education and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, which has given me a solid foundation in child development, emotional wellbeing, and family support. Over the years, I have worked in childcare centers, schools, and home-based settings, where I supported children’s daily routines, learning activities, and social development. I also have international experience through volunteer work and internships, which helped me adapt to different family cultures, parenting styles, and children’s needs.
As a nanny, my priority is always the child’s safety, happiness, and healthy development. I strive to create a warm, calm, and structured environment where children feel secure, respected, and encouraged to express themselves. I believe that children learn best through play, routine, and positive interaction, so I enjoy engaging them in age-appropriate activities such as storytelling, creative play, music, simple learning games, outdoor activities, and early language development. I also support good habits, including hygiene, mealtime routines, rest time, and positive behavior guidance.
I understand that every child is unique, and I take time to observe, listen, and adapt my care approach to meet each child’s individual personality, interests, and developmental stage. I work closely with parents to follow family routines, values, and expectations, and I strongly value open communication. I am always happy to share daily updates, discuss progress, and listen to parents’ concerns or suggestions.
In addition to childcare, I can assist with light child-related household tasks such as organizing children’s spaces, preparing simple meals for children, and supporting homework or early learning activities when needed. I am patient, reliable, and organized, and I take pride in being someone families can depend on.
I speak English and have basic knowledge of German, which can be an added benefit for families interested in early language exposure. Most importantly, I bring kindness, respect, and genuine care into every family I work with. I see my role not just as a nanny, but as a supportive partner to parents and a positive presence in a child’s life.
Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction. I would be honored to support your family and contribute to your child’s growth and happiness. I look forward to the opportunity to get to know you and your children better.
Warm regards,
Oldivanda Maria
