My name is Veronica, and I’m writing to express my sincere interest in joining your family as a live-in nanny or caregiver. I’m from Nairobi, Kenya, and I come from a loving and supportive family background that has shaped me into a nurturing, responsible, and hardworking woman.
I’m a proud mother to a beautiful baby boy, which has given me the most valuable hands-on experience in caring for infants and toddlers. From feeding, changing, bathing, sleep routines, to play and emotional support,I’ve learned what it truly means to care for a child with love, patience and attentiveness. I’ve also helped take care of other children in my extended family and community, which deepened my interest in working in childcare professionally.
Aside from being a mum, I hold a Certificate in Food Production Techniques and have a strong background in cooking and hygiene. I previously ran my own small restaurant, where I gained great organizational skills, time management and the ability to work well under pressure. I enjoy preparing healthy, child-friendly meals and am more than happy to assist in the kitchen if needed. Cleanliness, nutrition and safety are all very important to me.
I am a naturally calm, kind, and joyful person. I believe children thrive best in a peaceful environment, and I do my best to provide that energy. I enjoy singing with children, playing simple games, telling stories, and encouraging learning through fun. I also respect family boundaries and understand that every child is different, so I’m always willing to adapt to the parenting style of the household I work with.
I am available to work full-time and live-in, and I’m flexible with my schedule,including weekends. I’m willing to relocate and work in countries like Canada, UAE, Qatar, the UK, Singapore, or Hong Kong. I have a valid Kenyan passport and can start as early as mid-September 2025 or later if needed.
As a single mum, I understand the deep love and daily challenges that come with parenting. I approach every child with the same compassion and responsibility I give to my own. I know some families may wonder about my ability to relocate as a mum, but I want to assure you that I am prepared and have support in place to care for my child while I work abroad.
I’m also happy to assist with light housework related to the children, like tidying up play areas, doing their laundry, preparing their meals, and keeping their routines consistent. I am not a certified teacher or nurse, but I’m very observant, careful, and quick to learn if special care is needed.
My dream is to offer genuine help to a family who values warmth, honesty, and respect. In return, I hope to gain international experience, grow both professionally and personally, and become a trusted part of your family.
