Dear Host Family,
My name is Hellen and I am originally from Kisumu Kenya. I am currently living with my family in Nairobi which is also the capital city of Kenya. English and swahili are my first language but I am also learning Dutch,deutsch and Spanish from duolingo. I cleared high-school and I have been doing manual jobs like plaiting hairs and making bracelets. I'm also interested in becoming a certified nursing assistant. I am a girl who loves volunteering and meeting new people and leaving positive impact in everywhere that I visit.
I'm a kind hearted lady and outgoing which makes it easier for me to connect with other people. I love to travel,eat delicious meal,take pictures, cook,spend time in nature, riding bikes and hiking.
I have never been an Aupair before but I have always been a babysitter during school breaks upto date growing up with children of all ages. I have a 5+years of babysitting experience but I can't say I am an expert, I have always enjoyed working with children and find it rewarding to help them learn and grow.
Becoming an aupair is a little bit scary to me but I know it would be such a wonderful opportunity for me to get out of my comfort zone, continue learning a new language,live in a new country for an extended period and meet amazing new people.
On the other hand I'm very organised person and can't wait to hear from you,looking forward to meeting my au pair Family and become very close with them.
