Dear Family, I'll start with practical things you need to know, then tell you who I really am.
I'm a computer Science graduate from Kenya, 24 years old, no tattoos, and I have a nose piercing. I don't smoke. I am healthy, active and have never had any serious medical issues. I have experience with childcare through raising my younger siblings, cousins, nephews and nieces, as I am the first born girl. Having responsibilities like feeding them, playing with them, helping with homework, tutoring them and putting them to bed. I've also done some tutoring in Math, Science and English for my neighbor's children, and family friends.
What makes me stand out, is that I'm naturally calm, like genuinely calm, that kids sense it. They relax around me, and I'm not the type to raise my voice or create chaos. I believe children need patience and presence more than anything. My Computer Science degree taught me how to think logically and solve problems, but also, how to sit with a difficult problem until it becomes simple. I bring the same energy to childcare, when a child is upset or struggling, I don't rush, I stay calm, until we figure it out with them.
What I can offer your family:

- Help with homework, especially Math, English and Science, and even basic computer coding skills if they're curious.
- Light personal assistant tasks if you need, like organizing schedules, helping with bookings, keeping things running smoothly. I am organized and you can trust me with details.
- Outdoor time! I love cycling, running, swimming. If your family is active, then even better. I'll take the kids to the park, kick a ball around, go on bike rides, explore nature, go to the beach or lake for a stroll. I believe children should move their bodies and feel the sun.
- A calm presence in your home. I'm here to become part of your family, eat meals with you sometimes, celebrate birthdays, help with school projects, be someone your children remember fondly when they're older.
Why Europe?
I've been researching different countries for months, The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, places where life feels calmer and more outdoorsy. I keep coming back to images of people cycling everywhere, swimming in lakes or the sea, going for walks and hikes on weekends, that's the life I hope for, in the near future.
What I'm looking for in a family:
I want to feel like I belong, like a big sister who shows up and stays. I want parents who communicate openly, who allow me to be part of their lives. I love kids who have high energy, and are curious.
A few things about me: I love cooking simple Kenyan dishes, and would happily share meals with you. I am tidy and will keep my space and common areas clean. I'm honest, and if something is wrong, I'll tell you. I don't like drama.
