HALLO, BONJOUR, HELLO
My name is Melanie, I am 23 yrs old female from Kenya. I am passionate, reliable, jovial, open minded, honest and caring. I am currently living in Nairobi, I have 2 sisters me being the first born. I am currently working as an accountant intern. I usually spend my leisure time reading books, watching films, knitting, gardening, listening to music, volunteering, yoga, skating or any other sporty activities as I am always very active and sporty. I also love to travel and making memories.
Volunteering has helped me learn a lot from various people especially the elders since they have more knowledge concerning things in life. Learning is always a work in progress and by joining your amazing family I will be able to learn a lot about cultures and improve my language skills.
I am a rollball player and I often coach children under 12 years to skate and seeing them happy is always a pleasure. I love children ,I love engaging them in various activities like painting ,reading and dancing. I always prepared to take all the responsibilities of the children and all that comes with joining a new family.
My child care experience includes taking care of my niece from birth to now she is 1 and half years old since her mom was doing her internship while I was studying online and a also took care of a family friends son who is now 7 years old. My responsibilities to my niece were feeding , bathing, washing her clothes, changing diapers, putting her to sleep and teaching her to walk. For my family friend's son, he was a very charming and loved to play. I would read him stories, we paint and take a walk in the neighborhood.
I believe that my personality of being patient will help me take care of any difficult situations and handle them perfectly. I know the first couple of months will be tedious but I know I will be able to quickly adapt to the new responsibilities and become of help to you, and to get the children to be fond of me and be trusted with them. I hope to be helpful in any kind of situation as that is what Au pair is about.
I hope you will not have any problems living with me as I am not demanding. I don't have any medical conditions that requires special attention neither do I have any allergies. I believe in talking things out and solving any problems or any issues that is maybe making one uncomfortable since the house is yours and you make all the rules I would want to jeopardize that.
I am looking for a family that we share a common interest. An understanding family who also want and very eager to explore the African culture and am very excited to learn and share different culture and perfecting my language.
I am really excited to hear all about you, your children. I am hoping we will get along throughout my Au pair journey. I can't wait to hear back from you. Looking forward to join your warm and amazing family and learning more about you and the culture.
