Dear host family,
My name is Eve, and I come to you all the way from beautiful Kenya, full of heart, hope, and happiness! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education with Guidance and Counselling from Moi University (class of 2021), and I’ve spent the last four years doing what I truly love—caregiving.
Two of those years were dedicated to caring for an elderly stroke patient, where I learned not just how to assist physically, but how to offer real emotional support. The other two were spent with three wonderful children—six-month-old twins and their spirited five-year-old big brother—so yes, I’ve mastered diaper duty, snack-time negotiation, and superhero pretend-play!
Now, I’m dreaming bigger. I’m ready to take this love for caregiving across borders. I am willing to relocate, and more than that, I’m offering something special—three months of caregiving/au pair work as a volunteer. Why? Because I believe in easing into a new home gently. I see this as a transition period where you get to know me, and I get to understand your family’s unique rhythm—without any pressure. It's my way of saying: "Let's start with trust."
Beyond offering help, I’m also chasing a dream. One day, I hope to work as a Special Needs or Educational Assistant, supporting children with autism, ADHD, or learning differences. Volunteering with your family gives me the experience, cultural exchange, and joy I need to move toward that goal. And between us—I also wouldn't mind picking up a new language or two along the way!
Most importantly, I don’t just want to be your caregiver. I want to be that reliable, loving big sister to your children, and a kind, respectful part of your family. My heart is all in—for the cuddles, the chaos, and the countless little moments that make family life so special.

Eve is passionate and experienced caregiver with four years of hands-on experience in both adult and child care. My journey in caregiving has been shaped by a deep sense of empathy, patience, and a strong desire to make a positive impact in people’s lives. Having worked with individuals with and without special needs, I have developed the skills and adaptability required to provide quality care in diverse settings.
My background in education with a specialization in guidance and counseling from Moi University has strengthened my ability to understand human behaviour, offer emotional support, and create a nurturing environment for those under my care. Beyond just providing physical assistance, I strive to foster a sense of comfort, dignity, and companionship for my clients.
With two years of experience in child care, I have provided support in feeding, bathing, hygiene maintenance, and engaging children in educational and recreational activities. I ensure that children feel safe, loved, and cared for, while also helping to create routines that promote their overall well-being. My experience in adult caregiving includes assisting seniors and individuals with disabilities in daily activities such as mobility support, meal preparation, medication reminders, and emotional companionship.
Patience and compassion are at the core of my caregiving approach. I take time to understand each individual’s unique needs, ensuring that they feel respected and valued. Working with both special needs and non-special needs individuals has trained me to be adaptable in different caregiving scenarios. From handling medical emergencies to adjusting to new care routines, I approach each situation with a level head and a problem-solving mindset.
Clear communication is essential in care-giving, and I make it a priority to build trust and positive relationships with both clients and their families. I am highly organized and dependable, ensuring that daily routines, medications, and other essential tasks are managed effectively. Care-giving is more than just a job to me—it is a calling to serve and make a real difference in people’s lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, especially preparing healthy meals that promote good nutrition. Reading books on psychology and personal development helps me improve my understanding of human needs, while outdoor activities such as nature walks provide a sense of relaxation and reflection.
I am open to working in any part of the world where my care-giving skills are needed. I embrace cultural diversity and am always eager to adapt to new environments while continuing to provide the best care possible. My goal is to ensure the well-being, happiness, and comfort of those entrusted to me, no matter where I am.
