My name is Courteney, and I am an Irish childcare professional who will be living in Alicante for one year. I am currently seeking a nanny position with a family looking for a reliable, caring, and native English-speaking caregiver.
I hold a QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education, as well as a Level 7 diploma in Social Studies. I also have over seven years of experience working with children with autism and additional/special needs. Through this work, I have developed a calm, patient, and child-centred approach, with a strong understanding of routine, emotional regulation, and supporting each child’s individual needs and development.
I am confident in providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children feel supported and secure. I enjoy engaging children through play, creative activities, and everyday routines, while naturally encouraging English language development.
I am a native English speaker and currently do not speak Spanish; however, I have experience working with international families and diverse settings and am comfortable adapting to different household routines and cultures. I am happy to assist with all child-related duties, including school runs, preparing meals for the children, playtime, and maintaining consistent daily routines.
