Gede, born in 2001 in Way Kanan, Indonesia, expresses a deep-seated passion for childcare, rooted in his childhood experiences of caring for younger cousins. This early interest blossomed into a two-year commitment (2022-2024) at Bussaina Orphanage. Initially, he cared for newborns (0-1 year old), where he developed skills in gentle care, patience, and recognizing developmental milestones, finding immense reward in the infants' first experiences and smiles.
Progressing to a Child Mentor role at the same orphanage in Labuhan Ratu, Bandar Lampung, Gede worked with children aged 3 to 14. This broadened his understanding of diverse personalities and needs. He found fulfillment in assisting with homework, providing emotional support, and organizing engaging activities that fostered imagination and teamwork, such as playing soccer and teaching basic guitar.
