My name is Shalomita and I am originally
from Jakarta, Indonesia. Bahasa is my first language but I also can speak English fluently because I use English to communicate with my father who is Dutch.
I have been to Europe for the first time this year to visit my dad after 15 years we haven’t seen each other. I also live there for 2 months in Amsterdam and do many things to be productive while my father go back to work, i do a volunteer with my opa in hortus botanical garden, and i am in love with the country also the people there. That’s also the reasons why i want to try this (AuPair), because I love the feeling when I leave my country alone and see the world, a new culture, and a new way of life. I want to do something I've never tried before (living abroad and just being with myself) I want to make memories with myself while i’m still young. I am very independent, open minded, friendly, and brave in a positive way. My friends and family told me that I could make new friends easily as well as making them comfortable and open with me. I am an expert to break the ice with new people, So I am sure that it won’t take a long time to make your children like me??
I love travelling and photography so much. and I will be happy to make some nice pictures for your family later on. Besides that, I also like to sing, hiking as well as travelling. I was hiking a couole of the highest mountain in Java and it was amazing because I felt like standing above the cloud.
I love children, that’s why I have been work/ volunteer as a sunday school teacher for 2 years, i’m the best sisters& aunty in my family.. i always help my cousins/ aunty who already have a kids and i’m really good at taking care a baby. I’m a single child and i always want to have a lil brother or sister since i was a kid, so i would really love to be a big sister for your kids and also treat them well. Becoming an au pair sounds like a great opportunity to get out of my comfort zone on a new adventure and meet new people from a new country. Looking forward to finding my au pair family! I hope that in this aupair I can get a host family who can make me feel like my own family, I really hope i can be a part of your family and help you with your kids also your house. I know i’m still in Jakarta now, but if you are interested in doing this with me I am ready to go as soon as my visa is completed.
