My name is Shafa, I’m 23 years old, and from Indonesia. I have more than three years of experience working with children in both formal and informal educational settings. I’ve taught English, Math, and basic literacy to young learners as a private tutor, and I’ve worked as a teaching assistant in an English learning center. I was also part of a national teaching program where I taught in a public elementary school.
From these experiences, I’ve learned how to manage different learning needs, use fun and engaging methods in class, and support children emotionally and socially. I would love to become an au pair abroad because I want to experience life with a new family and culture while doing something meaningful—helping children grow in confidence and language skills.
