Dear host family,
My name is Cecilia. I am 34 years old and from the city called Kolkata in India. I live with my parents and my nephew Loyd (11), I am living in a house that is located in an area full of nature. We have got two cats and five parrots.
I'm a person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends and family who are very important to me. Always trying to help, I’m always there for them if they need me.
I love traveling, learning new languages and different cultures, meeting new people, and definitely making memories. I'm very calm, collected, patient, and quick learning always comes in handy when dealing with challenging situations.
In my spare time provide private tuitions to young children at a local club. Furthermore, I enjoy reading a good book and singing. At the moment, I work as a teacher in St. Montfort Senior Secondary School. I enjoy this job very much, because I am able to bond with my students of different age groups, their parents and with the other teachers.
I have worked full-time with a family in Kuwait and took care of their two children, infant and 7 years of age. I take pride in creating child friendly activities. Ensure growth, happiness and safety of children while remaining in open communication with parents. Supply loving care while making sure to meet disciplinary and educational goals for each child I became very close to them and I cherish the time I have spent with them. When my brother was younger, I also took care of him, when our mum was working. Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can’t imagine a life without them.
Prior to which i was a full time teacher for five years in a Government undertaken Missionary School ( St. Mary's School).
My tenure as a Gallery Assistant and Customer Care Representative taught me to develop multitasking skill, computer skills, communication skill and also building good relationship with my co- workers.
I would describe my strength as an Aupair as the ability to bond really well with kids and also blending iln very easily and as a result being able to be their mentor in different aspects of life and also be like their big sister, also the ability to learn from my mistakes. On the other hand, I would describe my weakness as an Au pair is that I have a hard time letting go of something or someone because I get too attached to children especially and hence becomes emotionally hard to detach from them.
I am searching for a host family, that would be happy to have me as part of the family, be kind, welcoming and who are willing to learn new culture and language. I am looking for a long time stay with my host family, for one 1year or more depending on the connection formed with the family.
