I am creative, caring, reliable and open-minded person.I had two aupair experiences in the past, first in Lonond for 7 months with a British/German family. I was looking after a 5 and 7 year old boy. They were lovely, fun, clever and creative, with a ton of energy, and sometimes hard to deal with. With the kids I enjoyed doing artsy things, we did a lot of paintings and origami. And a lot of sports too, but my favourite time is the bedtime story reading with cuddles.
It was much harder than I thought it would be, but I wouldn't trade this experience for the world.
After this I moved to Dublin and took care of a 6 months old and a 2 and a half years old girls. They were the cutest things in the world, especially the baby :) I took care of them for 3 days per week, 11 hours per day. It was demanding but very rewarding experience.
My third aupair role was with an American Indian family in Dublin where I stayed for 2 years and took care of a 6 and 9 years old.
I’m naturally good with kids and find it easy to put myself in their shoes. I believe that you have to treat a child (or really anyone around you) with respect in order to gain respect. I also believe that kids need love and care as well as boundaries, and as much independence as their age requires.
Two years ago I graduated from ELTE (one of the strongest universities of Hungary) and I got a degree in Communication, Media and Culture.I am originally from the countryside of Hungary, but during my university years, I lived in shared flat with others in Budapest. So I learnt to live with other people and take care of myself and my environment. Also I learnt how to handle homesickness. I’ve cooked for myself for years now. I like to bake more than cook, but I’m not bad at either of them and always eager to find new tasty recipes. I try to eat and live healthy, which means avoiding sugar and gluten and dairy to me. I’m at a pre-diabetic stage, that’s why it’s important to me to pay attention to my lifestyle. I also do yoga almost every day, and love cycling in nature and going to the gym.
I like doing handcrafting, drawing, painting and making fun stuff out of old ones. I think that creativity (and humor!) helps to solve problems better in everyday life.
I love meeting new people, and I’m usually good at initiating relationships, but I like being with my few close friends the most. I like experiencing new things, going out for a drink, going to cinema, theater, concerts and festivals, but I need some quiet time to myself to regenerate as well.
That’s when I like to watch movies, reading books, and listening to music. I like art in general, it helps me understand myself and my surroundings better, and makes me more emphatic to others. I think I’m a critical thinker and always try to understand others’ opinions and experiences. Also I like to be well informed about the world around me, be it politics, culture or anything really. I’m quite interested in lots of things, even if this sometimes can kill my focus and productivity. That’s why I try to be organized and be more focused on the important things. Right now these would be travelling, experiencing new cultures, and creating genuine connections with people, especially with my host family :) Also I’d like to improve myself as a person, as well as few of my skills, I started to learn to play guitar and I'm interested in photography/filmmking too. And of course healthy living is always a priority.
I have an intermediate language exam in English. I also have a valid driving licence, but I'm not a confident driver.
I’d like to find a nice, funny, caring, clever family whom I can get along well. I’d like to be part of your family, but I respect your need for family time, and I want you to respect my autonomy as well. I’m quite flexible, I think with open communication and respect for each other a lot of things can be solved.
