Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Gabriela, I am 26 years old, and I am originally from Brazil. I am currently living in Paris, where I work as an au pair for a French family. This experience has shown me how much I enjoy being part of a family’s daily life, caring for children, and building meaningful connections through cultural exchange.

I am currently looking for a host family for the summer, from July 6th to August 23rd, either in France or in England. I would love to continue my experience as an Au Pair & Live-in Tutor during this period while discovering a new environment and supporting a family in their daily routine.

I would like to continue this journey because I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel supported in their everyday life. I believe that living abroad in a family environment is one of the most enriching ways to experience a culture, and I truly value the meaningful connections that can come from this experience.

I believe I would be a good match for your family because I am responsible, calm, caring, and adaptable. As someone who already works as an au pair in Europe, I understand the responsibilities and routines that come with this role. I know how important communication, trust, and flexibility are in creating a positive atmosphere at home.

I also have experience working with children of different ages through my background as a teacher. I hold a degree in History and a Master’s degree in Education, and I worked for three years in a public school in Brazil. These experiences helped me develop patience, creativity, and strong communication skills.

In addition, I speak English at a C1 level and French at a B1 level. I also have a valid driver’s license and a French visa, which allows me to travel easily within Europe.
