Dear family,
I think I would be a great addition to your family, although I don’t have professional experience in childcare, I have experience with taking care of younger cousins in my family, as well as knowledge regarding child psychology and childhood development. I am also very organized, reliable, and I take my work very seriously.
I am 31 years old, an Albanian from North Macedonia, however, I was born and raised in Canada, so both Albanian and English are my native languages. Additionally, living in North Macedonia means I also speak Macedonian, and through the years I’ve picked up some Turkish as well.
My first job was working as a therapist with children with autism and learning disabilities. This job required one-on-one sessions and preparing activities according to the child’s developmental needs.
Now I work as an online English tutor, and I teach English to kids from different places of the world. For me it is very important that I don’t focus only on language but also make sure to create a safe environment for my students to express themselves and boost their confidence.
I continue to show interest in childhood development by reading books and attending seminars. Additionally, I am a creative person, and I love using arts and crafts and DIY projects to spend time with children and offer them the space to enjoy themselves and have fun and just be kids.
