My name is Ava, and I am a Canadian student currently working toward my teaching diploma. Caring for and working with children has been a central part of my life for many years, and I am excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair and Nanny because it allows me to combine my love for childcare with cultural exchange and meaningful family life.

I want to become an Au Pair and Nanny because I truly enjoy supporting children as they learn, grow, and develop. I value being present in children’s everyday routines—helping with schoolwork, play, creativity, and daily structure—and I find great purpose in creating a safe, encouraging, and nurturing environment. Living with a host family also appeals to me because I enjoy forming genuine connections and becoming a trusted part of a household rather than simply providing childcare.

I believe I would be a strong addition to your family because I am responsible, patient, and deeply committed to the well-being of children. I am used to balancing busy schedules, communicating clearly with parents, and adapting to the needs of each child. I also enjoy incorporating creativity into childcare, whether through arts, crafts, or imaginative play, and I always aim to be both caring and dependable.

I am well qualified for this position through my extensive hands-on experience with children of all ages. I began babysitting at age 12, helped care for my three younger sisters, and have since gained experience through volunteer tutoring, teaching placements across multiple grade levels, and working as an artist educator at the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts. I am certified in First Aid and CPR, hold a clean G licence, and have a valid record check. My training as a future teacher has further strengthened my ability to support children academically, socially, and emotionally.
