My name is Helen and I’m 18 years old. I graduated high school this year and am now looking forward to working abroad. I live in Vienna with my mother and brother (19 y/o), 15 minutes away from my father and two younger sisters (11 and 1,5 y/o).
Although I live with my mother, I am very close with my younger siblings and spent as much time with them as possible. I am a very trustworthy and responsible person and have spent plenty of time with them on my own (e.g. over the weekend, cooking, cleaning, …), where I’ve gained a lot of experiences that have given me valuable insights into child care and development. Besides taking care of my siblings, I've also coached children (between 6-12 years old) for about two years, when I was an active cheerleader. It showed me, that I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and like entertaining them. It takes a lot of patiences and assertiveness, when dealing with children, but when you get along well, it is a very fun experience.
It is extremely important to me to form a bond with your children and have them view me as their older sister and best friend rather than someone who gets payed to spent time with them. I think that with the right schedule it is possible to have loads of fun and still get things done. In their free time I plan on doing various activities with them like drawing, playing games, going outside, meeting friends… in order to create an atmosphere that encourages them to explore their interests and express themselves freely. I am a quick learner and eager to take on new challenges. I am willing to work closely with you to understand your family's routines, preferences, and rules, ensuring a seamless integration into your household.
I am looking for a family that will communicate with me in english or german and that wants me to talk to their children in one or both of those languages. As for my salary, I am looking for a fixed weekly sum for an agreed amount of work. If something is added to that, I expect a higher hourly wage, since it takes away from my free time.
