Hello! My name is Darcey, and I’m a 23-year-old Australian who is excited to be working as a nanny in Europe!
I’ve always had a love for spending time with children and helping them learn and grow, which is why I’m looking for an opportunity to become part of a family where I can offer my care and support. While I don’t have formal nanny experience, I have spent a lot of time looking after younger siblings, cousins, and family friends, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I’m naturally patient, responsible, and love to engage children in creative activities, whether it’s arts and crafts, playing outside, or helping with schoolwork.
I aim to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children. I’m happy to assist with school runs, light housekeeping, meal preparation, or just spending quality time with the kids to ensure they have a great time. I believe that being a nanny is about more than just looking after children—it's about being a positive role model and helping them develop emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
I’m a native English speaker, and I’m excited to be in a new cultural environment. Although I don’t speak another language fluently just yet, I’m open to learning and immersing myself in the local culture during my time in Europe.
I’m available to start from April and am looking for a position lasting between 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extending further if the fit is right. I’m flexible with hours and am happy to work weekends or evenings, depending on the family’s needs.
