I am a native English speaker that lives near Washington DC. I do not drive or have a license since I live within close quarters to public transportation via the metro system.

I am a people person. I enjoy getting to know people, their way of life, and enjoy the newness of being an AU pair.

People have said to me that I'm "An old soul in a young body." Because I have a lot of patience and understanding for things. Meditating has helped me to be free of daily stress and calm during challenging times :)

I am new to being an AU pair but I am not new to working with children. Please see my experience in the description below.

I have a good amount of experience working with children, all the way to senior citizens, and disabled people, over the years.

I started working with children when I was 17. I was a babysitter for children of close relatives and friends.

In later years, I worked with groups of children from ages 3-5 in a library volunteer program for several hours daily. My child experience is with children no younger than between 2 1/2 - 6 years old. Therefore, I feel capable of working with older children as well.

- I have even worked with several seniors at once in group settings in a program I also volunteered for, which was to help senior citizens and disabled people.

For families that require teaching, I have some experience with teaching professionally through the programs I was accepted for to teach children at a point in time, and for a nursing home where I taught seniors.

I created lessons and presented them to classrooms filled with up to 20 students at a time.

I would like to become an AU pair because I enjoy helping people, working with children, and meeting people from all walks of life. I look forward to the opportunity to speak with you about your family.

I am an artist and love photography!

I really enjoy photographing new sights and scenes, as well as digital art. I am also an avid meditator and having a peaceful sound mind is important to my healthy balanced lifestyle. I am not religious but I love to appreciate the simple things in life through mindfulness.

Some Additions:

- I like trying new food. I can't eat spicy food but that's about it. No food allergies to anything other than poppyseeds, to my knowledge.

- I have an eclectic taste in music. Love listening to new songs and instrumentals from around the world.

- Would be open and welcoming of traveling. If you're someone that enjoys taking trips, I would be glad to be there and help as we adventure the globe together.

- I enjoy reading and self-published some books to help people :)

- I like creative hobbies, sightseeing, and exploring new places.
