Hello, my name is Devin. I am 22, seeking a long term nanny position, preferably live in. I have an open heart. I am caring, understanding, trustworthy, patient, and resilient. My grandmother describes me as the peacemaker in my family of six, with a calm spirit. Ask my dad, and he will tell you I am quiet but never shy to include. I see past the superficial and straight to the soul. Working one on one has always been my caregiving specialty. There is nothing like getting to devote all of my attention and love to one person, making them feel wholly seen, understood, and cared for.
I am studying English and creative writing. My passion in life outside of children is poetry. I strive to be a professional, published, traveling poet. I also want to teach poetry classes to children one day. My job experience includes babysitting since 14, a daycare job at lifetime fitness (2019-2020), summer nanny position (2021), Lily pad garden and farm school summer position (2022), Lil champs preschool teacher at Community Bible Church (held for one year 2023-2024). All are located in San Antonio Texas.
As for hobbies, I love reading poetry, learning anything, being outside, playing guitar, singing, writing music, being active, baking, knitting, being around my dog, and strengthening bonds with people I love.
I am a very passionate person. I am looking for a job that I can give my all to, but it needs to be perfect for me!
