Hello family! My name is Nora, I am currently 17 years old, and I will be turning 18 in February. I graduated high school a year early as I was ready for bigger and better things in my life! I am a very fun adventurous person. I love going on adventures and being active, but I also know how to enjoy calm quiet days inside. I love nature, and I frequently hike and swim, I also love hammocking, and basically any activity outdoors (including tree climbing.) I love thrifting with my friends and going to concerts, as music is a very important aspect of my life. I also love art and being creative to see what crazy things I can make. I have a deep love for anything living, I love plants and animals, but people are my favorite. I love getting to know new people, especially the little wonders that are children. I have years of experience with taking care of kids, including infants. I love any person of any age, so I don’t mind taking care of older kids as well. I have taken a year long course on child care, learning how to help children with their developmental skills, and helping them learn how to deal with their emotions. I have many cousins that I am a consistent babysitter for, so I am well acquainted with potty training all the way up to dealing with meltdowns. I am first aid certified and I have my food handlers permit. I am not much of a cook, but I can easily follow a recipe, and I would love to learn more about cooking if that's something you'd be interested in me doing. I actually really enjoy cleaning, I find it very therapeutic, so I wouldn’t mind helping with cleaning around the house. I started to watch children when I was 10 years old, and it’s really helped me grow a great appreciation for their complex minds. I am looking to be a nanny/au pair for as long as I am needed, but preferably no more than a year. I am a very outgoing person and I’m looking for a spunky family who’s ready to have fun!
